Choose Your Size
Wraps and strips are sized a little differently than toppers β here's what the numbers mean before you pick.
π How Sizing Works
Height is how tall the strip stands on your cake's side, from the board up. Measure your cake's height and pick a size that covers it.
Length is the total length of the sheet or strip before trimming. Measure around your cake (its circumference) and choose the size closest above that measurement β you'll trim off any excess to get a clean fit.

Tips for the Best Results
- Apply to freshly frosted, slightly tacky buttercream so the wrap adheres without sliding.
- Wrap loosely around the cake first to mark your cutting line, then trim before pressing into place β smoothing in one direction and tucking the seam at the back.
- Frosting sheets curve smoothly around most cakes; wafer paper is a bit more rigid and best for gentler curves. Chill briefly after wrapping to help it set.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between cake strips and a full wrap sheet?
The pre-cut strips (sets of 2 or 3) are narrower bands for layered or decorative looks, while the Quarter and Half Sheets give you one continuous piece to wrap fully around the cake or trim down.
What size do I need for my cake?
Measure your cake's height and circumference, then match those numbers to the sizes above. When in between sizes, size up β it's easier to trim extra than to come up short.
How do I apply a cake wrap or strip?
Peel the backing off and press the strip onto soft, freshly frosted buttercream, smoothing as you go. Trim any excess and tuck the seam at the back.
Can I order a custom size, or use wraps on tiered cakes?
Yes to both β for a size outside our standard list, reach out through our Contact page. For tiered cakes, apply a separate strip to each tier sized to that tier's own measurements.
How long do sheets last, and are they allergen-friendly?
Kept flat, cool, and dry, unopened sheets stay fresh for an extended period β use promptly once opened. Ingredients vary by sheet type, so check the product listing or contact us for a full allergen list.
