We ship via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground depending on your location and package weight. The carrier is selected at our discretion to ensure the fastest and most reliable delivery for your area.

We pride ourselves on being one of the fastest edible topper printers in the US. Here is how our production timeline works:

• ✅ Order before 12 PM EST (Mon–Fri): We aim to ship same business day.
• ⚠️ Order after 12 PM EST: Your order will typically ship the next business day.
• 📅 Weekends & federal holidays: Orders placed on these days are processed on the next business day.
• 🔎 Complex or custom artwork: Orders requiring additional design work may take an additional 1–2 days. We will contact you if this applies.

Total delivery time = production time + transit time. Once we hand your package to the carrier, delivery is typically within the timeframes below. These are estimates — actual delivery may be faster or occasionally slower depending on your location and the carrier's current volume.

Every order includes free shipment tracking. Here is how it works:

• 📧 Shipping confirmation email: As soon as your order is handed to the carrier, you will receive an automated email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your shipment.
• 📱 Real-time updates: Use your tracking number on the USPS, UPS, or FedEx website to see exactly where your package is and its estimated delivery date.
• ⏱ Allow 24 hours: Carrier tracking systems can take up to 24 hours after shipment to show the first scan. If your tracking number shows "no information available" right after receiving the email, please check again the following day.
• ❓ Did not receive a tracking email? Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, contact us at support@customediblesheets.com and we will resend it immediately.

Edible cake toppers are delicate — we take packaging seriously. Every order is prepared with food safety and structural protection in mind, so your topper arrives in perfect condition, ready to use.

• 🍃 Food-safe zip seal bag: Your edible topper is individually sealed in a food-safe zip bag immediately after printing to protect it from moisture and contamination.
• 📋 Rigid protective mailer: The sealed topper is then placed flat in a rigid, non-bendable cardboard envelope to prevent folding, bending, or creasing during shipping.
• 🌡️ Humidity-resistant materials: Our packaging is designed to hold up in a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions that can occur during transit, especially in warm climates.
• ⚠️ "Do Not Bend" labeling: Every package is clearly marked "Do Not Bend — Fragile Contents" on the outside to alert postal workers and delivery drivers.

Once your package is handed to the carrier, delivery timelines are under the carrier's control. We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or any other shipping carrier — including weather delays, holiday backlogs, service disruptions, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

• 📦 Package is late but still in transit: Check your tracking link for the latest status. Carrier delays during peak periods (holidays, weather events) can add 1–5 business days. We recommend waiting until the carrier's updated estimated delivery date before contacting us.
• ❓ Tracking shows no updates for 5+ days: This can occasionally happen with USPS. Contact us and we will reach out to the carrier to investigate the location of your package.
• 🚫 Package marked delivered but not received: Check with neighbors and your building's mail area. If still missing, contact us within 48 hours and we will open a carrier investigation.
• 📋 Confirmed lost package: If the carrier confirms your package is lost, we will reprint and reship your order at no charge. Investigation results from the carrier are typically available within 5–10 business days.

We currently ship primarily within the United States. International shipping to select countries — including Canada — may be available at checkout. International orders are subject to additional shipping fees, customs duties, and import taxes that are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

• 🇨🇦 Canada: International shipping to Canada is available. Estimated transit is 7–14 business days. Customs fees and import duties are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the shipping cost.
• 🌍 Other countries: If your country is not shown at checkout, international shipping is currently not available for your location. Please contact us and we will advise on any alternatives.
• 📋 Customs and duties: Edible food products may be subject to customs inspection. We cannot be held responsible for delays or additional fees imposed by customs authorities in the destination country.
• ⚠️ Import restrictions: Some countries restrict the import of food products. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure edible cake toppers are permitted for import in their country before ordering.

Orders are shipped exactly to the address entered at checkout. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order. We are unable to reroute packages once they have been shipped.

• ✅ Include apartment/suite numbers: Packages delivered to a building without a unit number may be left in a common area, lost, or returned to sender. Always include your full unit number.
• ✅ Verify the ZIP code: Even a single wrong digit in your ZIP code can route your package to the wrong city. Double-check this before confirming your order.
• 🚫 Incorrect address entered by customer: If a package is undeliverable or returned due to an incorrect address entered by the customer, we are not responsible for the cost of re-shipping. Re-shipment fees will apply.
• 🚫 Packages returned to sender: If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refused package, we will contact you. Re-shipping is available for an additional fee; we cannot issue a refund for returned food-safe custom items.

After shipping thousands of edible toppers across the US, here is what we recommend to ensure your order arrives on time and in perfect condition:

• 🗓️ Order early: Place your order at least 5–7 business days before your event. During holidays or peak seasons, allow 10–14 days. Edible toppers last 6–12 months, so early ordering is always risk-free.
• 📸 Upload a high-quality image: High-resolution photos (300 DPI or larger than 1.5MB) produce the sharpest, most vibrant prints. Blurry source images result in blurry prints — and that is not something we can fix in shipping.
• 📋 Double-check your order: Review your uploaded image, size selection, personalization text, and shipping address carefully before placing your order. Corrections after printing has started may not be possible.
• 🌡️ Storage after delivery: Once received, store your edible topper flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Do not refrigerate. The resealable zip bag it arrives in is perfect for storage.
