We Print & Ship
We print your top image on wafer paper and your reveal on a premium icing sheet, then ship both fast to your door.
Apply the Icing Sheet (Bottom Layer)
Peel and place the frosting sheet directly onto your freshly iced cake. Smooth from center outward.
Build Your Frosting Border
Pipe a buttercream border around the icing sheet — this creates the raised edge that holds the wafer paper above and contains the flame.
Place the Wafer Paper (Top Layer)
Rest the wafer paper print on top of the frosting border, gently pressing the edges to secure it in place.
Light It Up & Reveal! 🔥
Use a long lighter to ignite the center of the wafer paper. Watch it burn away and unveil the stunning hidden image beneath. Cue the gasps!
✔ Use white or light-colored buttercream for the best color payoff on the reveal icing sheet.
✔ Do not refrigerate the wafer paper — moisture will prevent it from burning cleanly.
✔ Make sure your frosting border is tall enough (at least ½ inch) to keep the wafer paper elevated above the icing sheet.
✔ For the most dramatic effect, dim the lights before lighting — the glow of the flame makes the reveal even more magical. 🔥
